The definition of the word "Glib" has recently changed. You're probably unaware of this because you don't read the dictionary but before the definition was "Being flippant (defined as not showing a serious or respectful attitude) regarding serious issues." Meaning "Not taking serious things seriously." The NEW definition if "Fluent (the ability to express oneself easily and articulately) but insincere and shallow."

It's the superordinate traits on the hiearchy of generalized preferences that are being selected."
