Flack

A derogatory term for someone with a peanut allergy.

Comes from the word anaphylactic shock, a possibly fatal reaction to allergens that many people with severe allergies experience.
Person 1: “That kid Caleb made me throw away my PB&J sandwich because of his peanut allergy. Now I got nothing to eat until dinner.”
Person 2: “Damn, what a flack.”

Hack and Flack

A Hack and Flack is an informal gathering of journalists (often called 'hacks') and public relations people (often called 'flacks'). This is usually off the record and involves alcohol. The purpose is to build and improve relationships between two groups who often work together but sometimes for competing purposes.
I heard Joe is coming to the hack and flack tonight, it would be good to hear him not spitting out rote talking points for a change.
