Harryson Burger

A local term in Oxford for a burger with both a meat, and a chicken patty. This was invented in 1818 by Lord Harryson of Yorkshire during his studies at Baelliol College.

A term originating from a caravan in Great Yarmouth by a bunch of pool players, used in turn to conclude a series of events which has resulted in pure justice either on or off the table. Usually complimented by a screech of Gambon.

A: That was a lucky snooker he got there!
A: Oh no! he went in off on his next visit.
B: AHHHH THE JUSTICE BURGER!!
A: ahh Gambon!

Co-opted from the first episode of television show "Daria", it refers to a common courtship ritual amongst teenagers, in chronological order. "Movie", for going to see a film; "Burger", for having a bite to eat; and "Backseat" for the sexual activities that take place in the back of a car.

"They've been going out for a while and he's been getting upset because other guys have been asking her out. And she saying she can't help it if she's attractive and popular. And besides, nobody ever said they were going steady, and if he does want to go steady, he's got to do a lot more than just movie-burger-backseat, movie-burger-backseat, because there are plenty of guys with bigger backseats waiting to take her some place nice!"

Contraction of 'Bugger It'. A phrase often used by Foul Ole Ron, a character from Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. He is an extremely repulsive entity who lacks the ability to speak coherently. Other phrases used by Foul Ole Ron include 'Buggrem' and 'Millenium hand and shrimp', bizarrely.
