yardifacts

Front yard clutter which can include eccentric statues, lawn gnomes, wind spinners and the ubiquitous pink plastic flamingo. The modern day manifestation of marking your territory as a warning to competing tribes. Depending on who you are, it's either eye candy or an eye sore.

Me: "My yardifacts aren't *quite* whitetrash enough. Think I'll go buy another value pack of 100 plastic flamingos!"

Archaeologist 1000 years from now: "ZOMG look at all these yardifacts. No wonder these people became extinct."

Yardley

A very idealic town outside of Philadelphia. It has a very historic and picturesque downtown area. Alot of people who work in the New York/New Jersey area choose to live here for the mayberryesque environment. It is 90% white and for some reason alot of the people who grew up there don't come back.

Kid 1: I'm bored, let's do something.

Kid 2: Do what?

Kid 3: Hmmm... as usual, all there is to do in Yardley is drugs or go into town and sit there.

yardcore

a musical genre... a blend of heavy rock music, sometimes referred to as "hardcore", mixed with Jamaican riddims.

"yard" is a word commonly used in place of "Jamaica"
("Mi come from yahd (yard)")Meaning: I come from Jamaica.

So yardcore is Reggae/Dancehall (or jamaican style music) mixed with hard rock.

Made popular by the FEAR NUTTIN BAND.

Known for mixing rock and reggae, Fear Nuttin Band, has created a new style of music they call "Yardcore".

If Buju Banton and the Deftones made an album it would be Yardcore.
