Get the you know how i roll mug.Originally a black slang term for fornication with vigour (sex). The term was adopted by early rock n' roll DJs (mostly white) who used it to describe the hybrid R&B/Country we have all come to know and drink beer to. The term also probably contributed to the parental angst of the 1950's adding to the "evil" reputation of those "nasty rock n' rollers".
