Someone who has owned a personal/portable MP3 player for a while but until recently, has always refused to purchase an Apple iPod.

Kevin was always going on about how iPods are over priced and saying you may as well by a Zen as they use the Creative chipset - stuff like that. What a podvert! I just saw him with a new Nano!

A person who pretends to be listening to their iPod or any other mp3 player, but has really put it on pause secretly to eavesdrop on another persons conversation.

"Hey that guy was being a total poddropper I knew he was listening to us"
