The Square, South Miami Heights, FL

"The Square" is a tiny, yet locally famous and ghetto sub-neighborhood in South Miami Heights, FL. It is bordered by SW 192nd st. to the south, SW 190th st. to the north, SW 113th pl. to the west, and SW 112th ave. to the east. The Square is directly north of Miami Southridge Senior High School. It is also home to Solid Rock Baptist Church and also Richmond Perrine Optimist Club. It is also right by Southridge Park. The Square's population is about 465. It is about 74% Black and 26% Hispanic, White, or Other. The Square doesn't get the best of reputations with regards to safety, but different people will say different things. I am not fully sure how safe or unsafe The Square is. But, The Square is a unique micro-ghetto area with architecture that is unique to The South Miami Heights area and i personally like it there and have friends from there. The Square has it's name "The Square" because if you look on Google Maps in Satellite mode, you see that this neighborhood makes the shape of a square. kennett square

A historic square mile small town in Pennsylvania mainly governed/financed by wealthy business merchants, which lies directly in the center of the impoverished hispanic migrant labor area Kennett Township. It's the official mushroom capitol of the world, yet ironically there is no longer a mushroom farm left in town. (Kennett) High school is comprised of half hispanics who work eight hours after school and half emo kids who hate everything, especially (unionville high school). The town is self governed by an idiotic borough council, and an overly friendly mayor. While a typical building in Kennett Square sells for 1.5mil, a typical building in Kennett Township is burned down for insurance money. There is nothing to do after 10pm except get pulled over and harassed by police.

Things to do: The parties are alright, but be ready to run. The only cool places are Chansonette, Half Moon bar, and Tera the recording studio. You can buy a book at one of six book stores, drink coffee at one of four coffee shops, or eat at one of fifty half ass restaurants. You will end up spending your time getting arrested, telling tourists where longwood gardens is, or staring at the Currie's girls. There is a good chance you will get side swiped by an illegal immigrant with no insurance on your way out.

Things not to do: Ever come here.

Acronym for AND CIRCLE GETS THE SQUARE or ACGTS. It was a popular retort for scoring a point on the 1970's (and current incarnations) of the popular, quasi-celebrified game show Hollywood Sqaures. Now, more popularly used among the ironic set. Spoken or in print form. It should be used as an alternative to FTW and EPIC. Especially useful in ironic ejaculations.

Dick: "Wow, I just figured out Paul Lynde was gay. LOL"
