True that your "self" is not every vapid though you have from moment to moment. Like the skin of a snake I'll shed a full layer of those vapid thoughts over time. So of these thoughts were adopted from or imposed by the zeitgeist and others I generated myself. But I'm not NOT my thoughts. To the extent that my thoughts are derived from the external world I am that which resonates with *eternally derived thought X*. Sam Harris' self does not resonate with 'Thought X' and THIS ONE does. And in doing so, MY self and Sam Harris' self are distinct. Additionally, I am that which generated thought X. This exact syllogism is WHY I AM "TO BE HERO X". There's another anime based on me. And Hero X's power to shift between 2 and 3d can be explained by my claim about the self. Which was that your "self" is the polyangulation of variables aggregating across and down a timeline at a specific locality. Now, the variables can overlap with other "selves" and the timeline is shared but the locality cannot overlap with that of other "selves". So, where am I now? Well, I'm in my apartment. But additionally, I'm oscillating between the inside of my own mind and my body. I occupy my mind to 3d print this thing I'm writing (in abstraction) and then I fill my meat-gundam with my self and puppet my thumbs around to type this on my phone. So, the Buddhists may have thought that... But the Buddhists are DUMB AND WRONG and THIS ONE is not that. They were pretty decent at trapping monkey kings though...
