pulling a geographic

A phrase used in the recovery community describing an illogical belief that switching locations will solve all of one’s life problems when in fact the problems are rooted in one’s self and whatever concurrent substance abuse that exists.

My curious and loving father with the beautiful but self-destructive mind was the brilliant master of pulling a geographic, and each time he made a move, he truly innocently began all over again, mostly believing in himself and his powerful intellect but forgetting his addiction and so he mastered living all over the world in the most magical towns and cities but he died alone and most likely, more afraid of life than death and so he took the leap and left his world behind.

Georgie Pie

New Zealand's answer to fast food giants such as McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and Burger King. First opened in Auckland in 1977, Georgie pie had plans to open 25 new outlets a year. Sadly Georgie pie was sold in 1996. At the conclusion of the deal, 17 outlets were converted into McDonald's restaurants, and the other 15 were sold, some to other fast food franchises. A wise man once said "Georgie Pie was not a business... it was a family." BRING BACK GEORGIE PIE!

Can't keep a country out a debt, but can start wars with innocent bystanders for oil( but it is still high!)!Take five days to make any attempt to save people in New Orleans from death, doom, and diaster!
