To act like a right Hobnob in the tea, is to have a tantrum and deliberately sabotage something nice, either for yourself or someone else. Taken from the selfish nature of the hobnob biscuit, which presents itself as a tough 'come dunk me bro' biscuit, only to crumble when submerged. Similar to 'pissed on your chips'.

When a person is starting to like someone so much so that the only rational explanation is the term fall in like. It is not to be mistaken with falling in love.
James: Are you falling in love with her?
Frank: No, but I am definitely falling in like with her.
James: Falling in like?
Frank: Yes, as in starting to like her however not there yet.
