Vadered

Vadered is most commonly used as a verb and reflects the workplace circumstance where a cohort interrupts your critical path to share anecdotes or information irrelevant to the task at hand. The act of vadering interrupts efficiency and performance. The person being vadered losses both a sense of time and short term memory through the event. In office lingo, three letter acronyms are used to reflect the current state of workplace efficiency such as: GVN (Getting Vadered Now), JGV (Just Got Vadered) or NGVN (Not Getting Vadered Now).

I busy at my workstation when Bob deeply vadered me with anecdotes that I cannot remember resulting in me missing my deadline and having to work through my lunch break.

Verb, to describe wearing a top and not ever putting your hands above your head. Named because Darth Vader does not lift his hands above his head.

Guy 1: "Fuuuuuuck, this shirt looks so good but if I reach up it shows my stomach."

Guy 2: "Just vader it."

The term was coined in Suburban Melbourne in the early 80s and is now used amongst urban and rural communities across Australia.
