Windshield Time

The amount of time wasted or lost driving from point A to point B during work hours.

Background information: This is a common term use among construction workers on the central coast of California. Since one may have construction projects spread out over the county.

Little was accomplish today since most of my day was spent doing 'windshield time' driving between projects.

when beer drinkin, playin pool, listenin to Nelly, seein titties, fuckin drunk bitches, dancin on tables, fallin down, gettin high, doin things you'll regret, talkin shit you'll never back up, hangin out with your best friends, gettin wasted, and passin out are all combined into one night you'll never remember.

A person who either consciously or unconsciously tries to engage you in a fruitless investment of your energy, time, money or attention. These people can be "takers" or simply abject individuals. The truth is that engaging in these types of interactions is an act of free will on our part so each of us can only blame ourselves for getting sucked in once again.

When someone says "soon", "5 minutes", "heading there", but then is ready hours or days later.

Steve said he'd be here soon, but its been 2 hours and he's not here yet. Dude must be on stealthy time.

The act of running late, and showing up anywhere between 1-3 hours late. This lateness is completely unintentional, they're trying their best.
