weewuzzing

The act of a black or other non White person claiming historical achievements were achieved by black/brown people. Often the claims are outlandish and never happened or the arguments made are so weak that it’s negligible.

The word weewuzzing is derived from American ghetto speak. The common phrase used to refer to their “great” ancestors (who may have actually been the ones to sell them into slavery) goes something like “we was kings”

This is often done in order for black people to have a sense of achievement that they never earned. Historical figures who were not black that get race swapped to be black in modern adaptations of their time own time period is also a form of weewuzzing.

Guy 1: did you see that Netflix is making a show about Vikings and Jarl Haakon is being portrayed as a black woman???

Guy 2: No I have not heard yet. They sure like weewuzzing.

Black guy who overheard: see I tol u weewuzz kangs and kwanes. Yuze wite peepo ain’t shit.

Weewuzzing

The act of a person (usually black but not always) attempting to try to give credit to black people for historical events. Often times this is outright false or the arguments are so weak that no sane person would consider it as anything other fiction.

The term weewuzzing is adapted from American black ghetto speak. Often when the subject of historical figures comes up an obnoxious amount of black people will begin saying “wee wuzz kangs and kwanes” Of course to anyone who didn’t get carried through their education by affirmative action the correct way to say that sentence is “we were kings and queens” the slurring of we and was creates the word weewuzz.

Other notable examples of times when weewuzzing occurs is when a traditionally white or even just non-black character is portrayed in a modern adaptation and it’s race is swapped to black, that is a more practical example of weewuzzing
