Thug Lust

Thug lust refers to a woman's unwavering love for guys from the hood. Women with this mentality are willing to step into all kinds of dangerous situations(abusive relationships, gang beef, police encounters, drug disputes, angry exes, etc) just to be with a thug/hood guy. Even when they get out of these relationships, they always manage to get into another one with the same thug or a different thug. This love for hood behavior more than likely spawned from the glorification of hood culture and crime in rap music.

Example 1:
Girl #1: I can never find a good man. I don't even think men are capable of being good people.
Girl #2: Yeah girl, it's a damn shame that we have to keep going through this much heartbreak.
Girl #3: Maybe it's because y'all keep getting with thug-ish dudes. Guys like that only want you around for so long.
Girl #1: Nah girl, that has nothing to do with it. All men are the same, you just don't know it yet.
Girl #2: Yeah we've been with enough men to know how they are. You've barely been with any so you wouldn't get it.
Girl #3: I've been with my man for 2 and a half years and he's as sweet as can be. You have to start looking for nicer men who will treat you with respect.
Girl #2: Now that I think about it your man does seem a bit too soft. Sorry girl but that ain't my type. I need a man that can handle me and that's on periodt.
Girl #1: Yeah I can't be with no nicey nice boy. Why can't my man be hood and treat me right at the same time?
Girl# #3: So my boyfriend is soft just because he's nice and ain't out in the streets causing trouble? Sorry but y'all will never find a decent man with Thug Lust that strong.
