Peet'n is a behavior that is defined as clowning full time (thinking it goes unnoticed), pretending to be grand on all levels (without a clue as to what greatness is--and how to get there), and a perverse penchant for stolen valor absent a day on the battlefield.

Ed is always Peet'n, never a clue as to how ridiculous his behavior is--or that his lies are traceable. A person is guilty of Peet'n when they knowingly fabricate military experience prior to completing boot camp, or they buff up their resume with non-existing experiences.
