Gapping

A technique used in dual carriageway or motorway driving, for example on the A13 -driving at speeds upwards of 100mph.

Judging and successfully jumping in and out of the gaps in traffic as they open and close, so that one may continue to accelerate or to travel at a very high rate of speed.

TommyKay-Gap

The TommyKay-Gap(TKG) is the increasingly accumulated difference of research power in a HOI4 Game between two parties(Nations, Factions etc.). This difference mostly appears when one of the parties uses the Technocratic-Tommy-Route(TTR), which means they prioritize Research above all else and the other party plays pragmatically(short term). The TGP dictates that over time the former party will get an increasingly large advantage over the latter. You can calculate your TGP using the equation for Research Power and then calculating the delta between the two parties for a given t (time passed). Research Power can be calculated using this equation: RP(t) = t * F + S where t = time, F = Research Focus (0 ≤ F ≤ 1), S = Starting Strength. Then you can calculate the TGP using: ΔRP(t) = t * F_A + S_A - t * F_B + S_B = TGP.

The Axis won because Japan got increasingly stronger as the game progressed, this happened due to the TommyKay-Gap increasing over time.
