'Like' Post

A Facebook post that acquires a significant amount of 'likes' but fails to arouse any meaningful amount of discussion. These are usually funny but irrelevant pictures or short, vague status updates no really one cares about.

I was disappointed to find that my picture of penguins humping each other at the zoo quickly became a 'like' post.

The act of posting, tweeting or blogging something at a specific time or in a specific time frame for optimum likes, retweets, or reblogs, etc

Girl 1: I saw what you posted on Tumblr last night! It got 50 notes!

Girl 2: Yeah it's cause I queued it for when most people were on Tumblr.

Girl 1: Ahh strategic posting, good idea!

Girl 2: You know it!
