Priante Effect

It's a phenomenon that occurs frequently.Simmilar to the Baader Meinhoff phenomenon. When one person mentions a word, phrase, idea, or when a person sees a certain object or person, they will encounter that word phrase idea or person later in the day when they least expect it sometimes instantly after the mention such word

"hey weren't you just talking about how we need to talk to the math teacher because I see her walking down the hall. What great timing must be the Priante Effect."

The situation in which females of the name Elyse have you so confused/frustrated, that you are unable to sleep at all for long periods of time.

PETA effect

The PETA effect is when an individual or group of individuals rally for a cause that would have almost 100% support yet their toxic methodology causes so much hatred that their efforts actually become detrimental to their cause.

Did you see a female politician in Texas proposed a law to fine men $100 for masturbating as a way to show how absurd some proposed laws towards women are? If that is her attempt at strengthening women's rights it is going to have the PETA effect.

leon effect

The way in which whenever you talk about anything you own, particularly on an internet forum, some idiot will immediately post a load of utter bollocks about how what they have is more advanced/expensive and how what you have is decrepid and shit.

I posted my new computer build on a forum for people to comment on and some moron immediately told me it belonged in the bin because if I spent and extra £3000 I could get something marginally faster. I was experiencing the leon effect.
