Browning

This term Brown person or affectionately Browning, is used in the West Indies, mostly Jamaica, to describe persons of obvious Mixed race heritage.

Historically the original term was Mulatto which is one Black and one White parent or the offsprings of two Mulattoes , multigeneration Mulattoes. The term most common is Coloured or Brown, most common in Jamaica and other Caribbean countries.

Some famousBrown people are Shaun Paul, Damian Marley , Bob Marley, Shaggy, Donald Sangster ( former Prime minister) Norman Manley, George WilliamGordon ( National hero).
