They are the single greatest threat to a shingle-based roof. Many people in Georgia suffer Virgin-Mary shaped water stains in their second-floor dining room because of leaks brought on by the Almond Tree.

"You better have someone come take a look at that leak. Even though it's shaped like the virgin Mary, it was probably caused by crocodiles or an Almond Tree!"
