The Chicano heroin addict or " tecato " belongs to a subculture that profoundly influences addict behavior and personality. Life-history interviews with a subsample of 18 Southern California ex- tecatos who were abstinent from 2.3 to 24.5 years revealed that tecatos employ the metaphor of an indestructable junkie worm or " tecato gusano " living in their vicera to explain heroin relapse, and abstinence in a manner essentially consistent with learning theories of opioid addiction. The study showed that ex- tecatos use a variety of coping mechanisms for maintaining abstinence and for avoiding "dangerous situations" which could trigger heroin craving and relapse. The research also revealed that being an ex- tecato does not necessarily imply living a crime free or nondeviant lifestyle, and that the process of working out of addiction involves two complementary social adjustment processes termed (a) extrication (from the tecato subculture) and (b) accommodation (to square society). values, ideals, way of thinking, social structure, view point or how the interact with one another.
It is likely the ones that under going the change will not notices that they are changing and that it will only
be seen by persons that have managed to resist changing. Even thou one does not change the way that others are the fact that others around him or her are changing will affect a change on him or her. Society is ever changing and evolving the values, ideals, way of thinking, social structure, view point or how the interact with one another was different when your great great great grandparents were alive and will be different when your great great grandchildren are borne.

Anyone who works with or has expertise in anything technical. Techanics, much like their sibling the 'mechanic', are placed in situations of similar power with regards to screwing you over monetarily without you even knowing.
Most of us have a techanic we go to that we can trust when we have questions about building a website, or buying a computer so when we go shopping we won't get gouged on the prices.

I went to best buy to purchase a new computer, but the techanic up there just kept trying to sell me features I didn't think I needed, and quoted me a $2999 on a new basic system!
