Generally it is done with a fist, but numerous other things are acceptable (i.e. foot, knee, snowball, etc.) Generally only done to people you have known for a reasonable length of time.

Scrooche cream

Alcohol based disinfectant liquid used for cleaning the scrotum and guiche (collectively 'scrooche') on long hikes/ walks when soap and water are not available - to prevent unsanitary sweaty conditions in the groin region which lead to infection and consequent unpleasant itching.

Note: Burns.. alot. place liberal amounts on genitalia when cleaning.

Hiker 1 and 2 after entering tent at end of a days hike:

Hiker 1: 'ohhh man pass the scrooche cream, my groin is saturated'

Hiker 2: ' Wouldn't want anything growing down there'
