When someone dosen't return phone calls or text messages. Most commonly used when trying to develop a relationship with someone.

The girl seemed pretty into me when I met her at the bar, but when I called her the next day, I got total radio silence.

A Phoenix based alternative rock band featuring Daniel Charles (guitar & vox), Matt McMoots (bass), and Tim Schultz (drums). Known for placing heavy emphasis on consuming alcoholic beverages at shows and rocking the audience with several solos.

Person 1: "I heard Radiofix was playing a show this weekend, we should go!"

Person 2: "Alright, but I'm only drinking 7 beers this time... not 15 like last time."

Radio Scanner

a radio receiver that can quickly switch between two or more channels (today's scanners usally have more then 500 channels) and then stop when the frequency is active. Used by criminals and radio operators to listent to pretty much everything from the police officer asking his buddy to get him more doughnuts and your cordless phone.

Phenomenon that usually occurs in the car, after your portable CD player has been jacked by some assclown who drove the car last, where you try all the good stations and there's either really crap music playing or TALKING and ads. At which point you are forced to entertain yourself, or even worse, you may have to communicate with your passengers.
