a) verb: (to) - to spoil someone's moment of fun or glory, often used sarcastically.
b) a synonym for the phrase " sorry to tell you this but (...)", followed by whatever piece of bad news you want to tell the person.

my ex-gf once told me, sorry to be raining on your parade, but I refuse to continue going out with you, unless you start going to the gym.

paraletic

This 'word' is derived from a widespread mispronunciation of the word 'paralytic' and means extremely drunk.
Although widely used this word does not exist in the written form.

We all had too much to drink at John's wedding and got absolutely 'paraletic'

Parabelle

A band formed by the former lead singer of Evans Blue Kevin Matisyn. They have yet to be signed to a major label. In 2009 put out their debut double album "A Summit Borderline/A Drop Oceanic". In 2010 they announced that they would record a follow up album tenitivley titled "Reasembaling The Icons" which is due out sometime late 2010.

I was so pissed when Kevin Matisyn was kicked out of evand blue but then I heard his work with Parabelle and I shit my fucking pants!!!!!!! My favorite song of their album is Pray To The Pessimest.

Paratrooping

I didn't have a place to stay at Dewey Beach, so I went "Paratrooping" for girls at The Starboard.
