Also Known as Memphis,TN. A City in western tennessee that is so overrun with poor blacks that most new visitors may think that they are not actually in the United states any longer but have somehow taken a wrong turn and wound up in Africa. Most notable for the Hernando-Desoto Bridge which is the worlds longest suspension bridge in that it stretches from Memphis all the way to Africa.

Dam dude this place is scary..I thought it was Memphis but its gots so many blacks its more like Memphrica.

Memphis

A city on the turn around from a few decades of bad karma and even worse government. Granted there are still some less than intelligent people running things, but the city is definitely changing for the better. The crime rate is down, though there are still some neighborhoods to avoid...as in every city. There are still some problems but come by in May for some storms, great music, great food, and a great time.

Memphis is a town on the turn around.

The best place in the South (after Florida). A city that hasn't bulldozed or tried to hide its history, and has a lot of diffrent cultural events. Many great neighborhoods such as Downtown, Uptown, Southend, Overton Square, and Cooper Young. Sadly, the city has a bad reputation with some Memphians and Tennesseans because its 60% African American and some people are afraid. So instead of checking out this great city for themselves, they spend their time on the internet bashing the city. NORMAL crime rate for a metro of 1.2 million(except in car thefts which are high), Memphis City Schools are good if you actually care about your education, and leads the state in private and public investment. Americas largest urban park Shelby Farms, and a world class minor leauge baseball stadium, world class NBA arena, world class zoo, and world class museums. Luckly the number of Memphis naysayers are dropping.

Before posting negative Memphis crap, get off your computer for once, and see what city is really like!!!

A neighborhood in South Memphis also known as "Da Riva" & "HomiSide"

If you dont know about Da Riva dont go to Da Riva because you will get drowned in Da Riva...most likely literally.

The area extends from South Parkway and Florida to Mallory and Riverside Blvd whick includes MLK Park.

Riverside streets include South Parkway, Riverside Blvd, Farrington, Rile, and Mallory just to name a few.

You dont just live in Riverside {South Memphis}you Survive it!
