Somebody who lives by double standards. Do as they preach, not as they practice. The kind of person who gets several dwi's in a row, then posts billboards all over town about how nobody should drink and drive.

-however if what their being "hypocritical" about is a belief, they might actually end up believing in it, fake hopes and dreams

1)A person who cheats on their significant other yet tells them they love them.

2) When the cheater announces on facebook that they love their significant other and they KNOW they cheated.

he, like a hypocrite, says: "happy birthday babe! i love you!" yet he cheated on her 3 days ago.
