Honeypot 

(adj.) - A word used to describe or characterize a distraction that is used to lull a target (eg. A targeted person or hacker) while it is being observed or coerced, and which usually results in the target being neutralized, degraded or defeated.

The Targeted Individual was set up with a Honeypot by his stalkers, and their relationship ended in his reputation being tarnished, his finances in ruin, and he lost his job.

Honeypot 

Honeypot is a term used on the deep web to identify websites which are likely sting operations. They are characterized by being easily found, and generally selling illicit drugs, or illegally selling firearms for prices too good to be true. As stated previously these deep web sites are generally sting operations ran by the FBI.

I was going to buy some drugs off this site I found on the deep web, but I suspected it was a Honeypot; I didn't buy the drugs in the end.

Well there's false flags, dead drops, drop outs, cut outs, active doubles, passive doubles, dangled moles. The often under appreciated honeypot. One of my favorites.
