Minus World Glitch

The Minus World Glitch is a glitch in Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo Entertainment System and is commonly known among Nintendo fans. Near the end of World 1-2, players can jump near the top of the pipe leading to the normal exit, and by doing this correctly, Mario will slide through the wall and appear in the "Warp Zone" area. Although it may look like the Warp Zone, it is an entirely different route. If the player enters the first pipe, Mario will appear in "World -1", a perpetually repeating water world overrun with Cheep Cheep and Bloopers.
Mario was forever lost in the mystical, ever repeating Minus World. Princess Toadstool would never be rescued, forever in the clutches of the evil King Koopa (A.K.A. Bowser). The Minus World Glitch had ended Mario's quest.

glitchin'-ass nigga

Glitchin'-ass niggaz are similar to the controversial "Snitchin-ass nigga" but they glitch out hard in video games instead of snitch on their homies.

When playing halo 3 big team slayer online (and various other first peron shooter team death match games) someone- usually a fag- is seen moving irradically, appearing and then disappering and just plain glitching all over the place giving him (or her if she is a lesbian) and unfair advantage over the other players (even Koreans).
Example:

Bill (to Steve): you just got dip swerved on kid. I'm working you over.

Steve: dude your using some kind of faggy glitch mod to serbian jew double bluff me you Glitchin'-ass nigga.

Bill: I pull up glitchin' on niggaz, I don't be tryin to be hatin (Glitchin-ass nigga version of "Riding Rims" by Dem Franchize Boys).

Glitching

The use of digital technology to induce altered states of consciousness.

Glitching most commonly refers to sound experiments, but can be used to describe other digital sensory alterations, as well as future experiments using technology not yet available.

The term originated in Boston by psychonauts experimenting with altered listening. The name comes from VST plugin Glitch, with which the original experiments were performed.

Basically, it involves running a microphone through an effects processor and listening to it through headphones. The result of experiencing the world like this leads to an altered state of awareness.

Visual glitching can be done with a camera and video goggles. Glitching can be interfaced with EEG brainwave technology (such as the Emotiv Epoc) to create a feedback experience. Future glitching will make use of technology as it becomes available (such as Augmented Reality). Glitching can also be networked between many glitchers, even over the internet, to induce Massively Multiplayer Online Psychedelic Experiences (MMOPE).

Glitching is sometimes seen as an alternative to Mind-altering drugs, but can be used in synergy.
Have you glitched?

Microphone + headphones + laptop + backpack + Ableton Live + VST effects = Glitching.

glitch

Seen commonly in the music press:

1. N. A genre of music, sometimes considered a subset of ambient or idm, which focuses on the idea of "errors" as a musical element. The "errors" in question are usually digital; a common element in glitch music is the rhythmic squeaking clicking noise which occurs when you play back a CD which has been badly scratched.

Seen less commonly, sort of local slang:

2. Adj/Adv. Something which produces pleasantly confusing and/or unpleasantly disorienting effects akin to those commonly resulting from listening to glitch music.
3. Verb. Doing something to someone which produces such effects.
1. "Oval is probably the most well-known artist in glitch, and his album "Systemisch" can be said to define the genre."
2. "The entire game consists of rolling up random 3D objects into a big wad and then throwing them into the sky. It's pretty glitch."
3. "'I saw Being John Malkovich this weekend, it totally glitched me."
