Gate Lice

Passenger, often inexperienced flyers in Kettle Class, who crowd around or line up at a gate at an airport completely blocking the boarding area and preventing First and Business Class passengers from being able to get on the plane when they're allowed to. They can also cause delays and confusion if a passenger in a wheelchair needs to board as the chair has to plow through the mass of gate lice hovering around the gate.

When it's time to board, they have to be shooed from the front boarding area to the back of the line, delaying the flight for everyone.

"We should probably head to the plane early before the gate lice show up".

"I don't understand why those people were being gate lice. Don't they know Zone 4 means you board last ?"

Toll Gate High School

A public High school in Warwick, Rhode Island. Student population of about 1,200. It’s all the kids who went to Cedar Hill, Drumrock, Greenwood, Scott, Wickes, and Robertson combined. You go to middle school at Winman Junior High School if you live in the Toll Gate District. Most of the teachers here suck at their jobs, with the exception of a handful. Out of the three public schools in Warwick, Toll Gate probably has the nicest campus, which isn't saying much considering minimal renovations have been made since it opened in the early 70's. There is a separate hallway for every grade’s lockers, with seniors getting their own in a separate building from the other three classes. The sports at TG are usually decent, with one or two Division I teams. Best football team in the town besides Hendricken.During the school year, fights happen about once a week, usually between some freshman kids who think their badass over a girl or something else stupid. There is a cop specially assigned to this school because of it, as well as the constant smoking and drug use there. Some of the kids who go here say they hate it, but once you become a senior and realize you’ll have to leave most students start to like it. The kids at Toll Gate know how to party and get away with doing things against the (very few) rules there, so most of the time there is a way to have a good time.

Winman Kid #1: I can’t wait to get out of this shithole and get to Toll Gate High School next year
Winman Kid #2: Same here dude, I can’t wait to be a Titan.

Girl #1: Oh, sucks that you have to go to Toll Gate next year.
Girl #2: Yeah, but at least it’s not as bad as Vets or Pilgrim.

Pizza Guy #1: Hey, It’s another kid from Toll Gate ordering pizza from class
Pizza Guy #2: Yeah, make sure you deliver it to the back parking lot door.

tow-in gate

A "tow-in gate" is an airplane gate where a tow tractor is required to pull planes to a gate before the passengers can leave the plane, usually either because the pilot can't safely maneuver to it or because the jet blast would cause a high risk to nearby equipment or personnel.

Damn it, we can't get off this plane for another hour, because we arrived at a tow-in gate!

This school is full of wannabe roadmen. Like I'm not even joking. You turn left? There is a wannabe roadman there. You turn right? Trust me there is a wannabe roadman on every corner of the school.

Gagelan

A Gagelan (or Gage and Gagel) is usually the life of the party! He usually attracts many girls, and always does what is right. He is a very dependable and responsible person, loving the mililary. He is one of the most kindest people to know, and hates black people.

He can be calm, stern, crazy, and pissed off at appropriate times. Most times he's pissed off and sort of a dick when he doesn't get his way. He loves video games, and sometimes he is sort of a dork at times, but everybody still loves him, even old men.

If a Gagelan has any brothers or sisters, he is usually VERY close with 'em. Yet, he at most times annoys the shit outta them, like a mother.

Most Gagelans love MMORPG's and play it as much as they can. His favorite music consists of The Rolling Stoners, Rick Astley, Weird Al, The Beatles, The Lonely Island, and Madonna.

Girl A: "Dang, that guy is such a Gagelan! He's so Nice!"
Girl B: "Yeah really! So...sexy...mmmm..."

Girl 1: "I wish you were more of a Gagelan, Lucas..."
Guy 2: "Well, at least I hate black people!"

Girl a: "That Gagelan would make such an awesome husband!"
Girl b: "Yeah! He's one in a million! Just... he's a nerd who plays Kingdom Hearts and World of Warcraft."

A handsome, yet funny guy who will always cheer you up no matter ,like he's such a fun person.He cares and looks out for his friends in time of need. He's a great artist .Like Leonardo Da Vinchi WHO? Gater

1) A person who likes the Show Stargate - SG1 and/or particpates in Stargate Fandom

There has been some discussion as to where the term orginated, the general opinion is that it orginated in on the newsgroup alt.tv.stargate-sg1 In a discussion as to what stargate Fans are called. The term was fully cemented into Stargate fandom when the forum Gaters.net was set up(This forum as a branch-off of SG1.net when it closed down, SG1.net Was founded by the same person (Sean Fitzgibbons) who founded alt.tv.stargate-sg1.
The term also reached *Offical* status when Brad Wright(Executive Producer) said fans call themselves "Gaters", on one of the DVDs
