New slang, commonly found on forums online. Derived from ether.

Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones aka Nas (American Rapper) b.sept 14, 1973. Had an ongoing beef with fellow New York rapper Jay-Z. Which began from Memphis Bleek (Rapper affiliated with Jay-Z), having references to Nas from his debut album 'Coming of Age'

Nas retaliated in 1999 on his album, Nastradamus.

This carried on and the diss record, Ether, was released on Nas's album 'Stillmatic' in December 2001.

This diss track, is widely recognised as one of the best of it's kind throwing insults at Nas's rival left, right and centre.

This rivalry ended in 2005, where Jay-Z brought Nas onstage and they performed together.

Recently, Nas basically said on Kanye West's "We Major" track, that he's a free artist.

Early in 2006, he signed to Jay-Z's Rocafella music label.

Even though the rivalry ended, without violence, the term is still used. This is because is the raw energy and hatered they had for eachother.

Jay-Z got ethered!

Etheridge

The name of witch means dependable, savvy, independent, self driven and motivated. Hooch guzzler Seen a lot has Concord more. Works hard plays harder. Only the chosen few are are blessed bearing the name of Etheridge, and those lucky enough to be graced by one. Most giving person to know. Best friend to have in your pack, group,or squad. On the other side of that coin you don't want the be on the wrong side of an Etheridge. They cover both peaks of the spectrum, high's are higher and lows are lower. There is not middle for them. To know one on a day end day out basis is like a bi-polar coaster. Takes a unique kinda person to live with one.

Esther

A girl thats has an old, deep soul that always means we’ll even if she can’t express it the right way or doesn’t seem like it. Not so much a great listener but has a strong voice for her very firm beliefs and morals that show she is one to trust with your life. Argues a lot even when wrong but only because they are passionate about so many things. People gravitate to Esthers but those who try to prove her wrong may get on her bad side. Esther is very powerful and sees and tells the truth through how she portrays it even if she is false or wrong. She doesn’t like to be wrong but deeply hates it more to be told and exposed through facts that she is wrong. therefore if anyone try’s to challenge her or challenge her beliefs will fire her up to where Esther either will ignore or get fueled by negativity inside and will argue with her last breath to prove she is correct without care of what she will say evil words and harsh lies will be said to protect her ego even if she isn’t right. Esther gets along with pretty much anybody in the world because they have the best personality and Secretly sensitive but doesn't show it. She only wants to guide and help but hurts when she doesn’t have the knowledge to do so and that hurt sometimes turns to very bad anger. But If Esther learns how to use her power for the better it will help her with her purpose in life. To help and guide everyone she can to succeed
