The homeless, post-surgery homeless man lacked anything to offer a potential patron to augment his treasury... Ah! He made available his made-made opening for a Coconut Delight.

Coconut Phone

When Hawaiians spread the word to let people know Hawaiians are in need. For example, if a Hawaiian opens a new restaurant (or food truck) on the Main Land and needs to drum up business, the owner will get on social media to spread the word to other Hawaiians so that everyone can band together to support the other Hawaiian. This is also done when a college football program treats Hawaiians well, you will find many more Hawaiians will flock to the same program.

*Note that this is only applicable on the Main Land.

We need to get business for this food truck. I'm going to get on the coconut phone and make it happen.

Coconut wireless

The Hawaiian concept of the Coconut Wireless is better than a cell phone! It is a wireless and fast way of communicating through word-of-mouth news or the sixth sense.

Example A: Friend 1: "Kealoha isn't home she went to the big island." Friend 2: "Yeah, I heard it on the coconut wireless."

Example B: Say you haven't seen your friend in a while and start to call them and get interrupted. Then they call you a minute later or show up on your doorstep. You are both connected to and tuned into the Coconut Wireless.

Friend 1: "Hey, I was going to call you"
Friend 2: Smiles knowingly, "I know. Heard dat on da Coconut Wireless."
