Normal delays caused by lack of proximity to Internet access that hinder senders impulsive natures have been removed with the advent of immediate access to the Internet via Blackberry. Hence, suffers of blackberry tourettes do not think of the consequences of messages before pushing SEND.

BlackBerranoia

A condition that a BlackBerry owner experiences when a certain amount of time goes by and there are no signs of any calls, text messages, IM's, Facebook notifications, etc. and one becomes paranoid and starts to panic thinking that their phone service is cut off.

James: Yo I haven't received any text messages, any IM's, or Facebook notifications in the past 5 minutes...I think Verizon just disconnected my phone service!!

Patrick: man are you serious?

James: yeah this is crazy....oh wait I just got a text message right now!

Patrick: man you just had a case of BlackBerranoia!!
