A shitty form of "grahpic novels" that is popular amongst adolcences, visulay unapealing expcialy when evrey kid who mimicks it thinks he's a van gough beacuse he copied a simplistic drawing.

2. An excuse to watch cartoons without embarrassment and palm it off as being "appreciative of fine art," and so giving the watcher a reason to go ballistic anytime anyone utters the slightest criticism of his/her taste and/or choice of hobby.

Anime
A lot of people view anime as its own thing, however, anime is nothing more than a Japanese cartoons, and since this is Japan, it has it's own special features, however, THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT ITS OWN MEDIA.
Anime in Japanese literally means Animation, that means that in Japan even a Disney cartoon would be considered Anime.
