A90 Toyota Supra

The 5th generation Toyota Supra, officially called the GR Supra. It is considered one of the most controversial new cars, because it is manufactured alongside its mechanical twin, the BMW Z4. Both of these cars are similar, but very different at the same time. One is Japanese and one is German for instance. The A90 Supra may have a BMW engine, but its still as good as the old Supra, if not better.

I mean seriously, the Zastava Florida was co developed with the Fiat Tipo, but no one ever said; "Oh, it's just a rebadged Tipo..."

While haters are going to hate, the A90 Toyota Supra is a seriously good car, even if it was a team effort.

Supratentorial

A word used by doctors and nurses to imply that a patient's problems are all in their mind. The tentorium is a membrane just under the brain, so "supratentorial" refers to what is above that, namely the brain. This term can be used in front of the patient or patient's family because it sounds like technical jargon.

Patient: "Every time Dr Phil comes on TV, my arms and legs start twitching!"

Doctor, quietly to nurse: "Seems to be a supratentorial problem."

Then to patient, condescendingly: "Sorry, dear, we're just talking shop. Go on."

Supra

Rice burner? Jap crap? I think not! After 28 years of being a Ford man, my blood boiled as I hopped in a 1987 MA70 stock standard Supra. Sure, Toyota has made their fair share of terrible cars - so has every other car company. Hop in a stock standard car from any company and it's usually horrible compared to your weekend drive. Hop in that companies version of a supercar / muscle car/ sports car & you will usually be impressed. Each to their own though, no car is the same which is why there will NEVER be a winner. Chose your weapon, mine is a Supra & that's the way I like it. Don't hate me for it, just appreciate the fact that there are cars out there willing to "challenge" you on the road. Without it, you would all be driving the same cars with the same features and stock engines. Boring!

1987 MA70 stock standard Supra. Plant your foot and feel the vibrations from the in-line 6cyl. From the front it looks like a bloody wedge tail eagle!

Supra

Awesome cars with not only performance but luxury. People who diss are usually envious of those who drive them. They either don't have the money or skill to handle one of these cars. This is true of future-Volvo-driving-John "10 times" HG. He would like others to have $200 crappy brown volvos like the car he will own.

Wow John will never afford a Supra in his entire life, dat's why he must be jealous.

Yeah but he wouldn't be able to handle the power anyways.

supratentorial

The tentorium cerebelli is the membrane that separates the brain from the lower parts of your nervous system. Therefore, a supratentorial problem is NOT a way in which doctors can call you crazy without you knowing it. Rather, it is a way for them to define the cause of the neurological problem. Left supratentorial damage causes sensory and motor dysfunction on the right side of your face and body, and vice versa.

Patient: I cannot feel the left side of my face or the left side of my body, doc!
Doctor: Sounds like supratentorial damage.
Patient: Are you saying it's all in my head?
Doctor: Kinda. Damage to your right brain has caused you to lose all feeling on the left side of your face and body.
