Sherman, CT

Sherman, Connecticut is the northernmost and least populated town in Fairfield County. It has been named "The Best Small Town In Connecticut" many times. Celebrities such as Derek Jeter of the NY Yankees and the CEO of Disney have weekend houses there. There's only one public school, and students have to go elsewhere for high school. The town is on Candlewood Lake, which is a large man-made lake, and the Appalachian Mountains also run through the town.

Sherman's Marshmallow

A Southerner, especially one from Georgia or South Carolina. A reference the the Civil War "March to the Sea" when Sherman's army burnt down cities and towns along the route of march.

A small Texas town 60 miles north of Dallas, also known to locals as Shertown. Home of the Austin College Roos and the Sherman Bearcats. Void of any fun activities. Wal-mart is the hang-out place for the average teenager. Really friendly people who speak hick including words such as "fixin' to" and "wersh" (wash). Outcasts include people of other races, people without Myspace pages, and people who wear anything other than a t-shirt and American Eagle jeans. About seventy-eight percent of people raised in Sherman are stuck there the rest of their lives. See S&S Consolidated.

Sherman IL

Sherman is a large town just outside of Springfield, the state of Illinois capitol. It has about 20 subdivisons all spread out and seem to expand forever. Sherman blvd is where most activity is. It consist of the clinic, the Crossing Strip Mall, Larson's Plaza, Dairy Queen, Williamsville State Bank, Family Video, Town Hall, and the newest adition, a Walgreens. The town is hopeing to add a County Market which will have other businesses like FitClub and China Star. The town attends Williamsville School District.
