Shroomin' with Ty Wright

A public access TV show written, produced, directed and starring Tyler Wright. The entire show consists of Tyler sitting on a couch in his basement with an open phone book calling random citizens of Hockessin, Delaware and asking them his classic line.

Scenario ONE:
Ty: Yo, you shroomin'?
Person 1: Hell yeah, I'm shroomin'!

Scenario TWO:
Ty: Yo, you shroomin'?
Person 2: What the hell? I'll call the cops on you, you little rat ass bastard mother fuc...(at which point Ty hangs up, rolls around on the floor laughing)

An enjoyable drug that makes things hilarious and makes people's faces do crazy things. Listen to Frank Zappa.

When I did mushrooms, the corner of the room started to stretch into a point of infinity like taffy. Then we listened to Frank Zappa's version of Purple Haze and I laughed until I nearly pissed myself. My friends faces did weird things and I picked up this tortilla chip, looked at it, and said "swaddling clothes." Then we were smoking outside and my friend lunged at me from 10 feet away and burned me with a cigarette and broke his hand on a pickle jar. Then we played with the drum machine. That was my experience on mushrooms.

Shroom

A party held in a park in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA that is run by seniors who go to Central Catholic. It is always deep in the woods of the park and is attended by mostly juniors of Central and Oakland Catholic but also some from Allderdice and other city schools. It has been busted before because the police are moderately aware of the party and it is always held in the same place.

chocolate shrooms

Magic mushrooms dipped in chocolate. Easier to consume since the chocolate hides the generally bland flavor of mushrooms. The fact that they are dipped in chocolate has nothing to do with the strength of the actual mushrooms themselves.

Typical slang for a 'magic mushroom.' There are two distinct types of magic mushrooms, the Amanita Muscaria species and many in the Psilocybe family. These mushrooms contain one or more of the hallucinogenic chemicals muscimol, psilocin, or psilocybin, the latter breaks down into psilocin when exposed to heat and air. When ingested they produce a 'trip' which is a hallucinogenic experience, during which the user may have a religious or life changing experience. In the United States and many other nations, Amanitas are legal while Psilocybe mushrooms are not. Amanitas are one of the earliest known hallucinogens. The trip is similar to, but usually not as intense as an LSD trip; depending on how many mushrooms are taken. On the street Amanitas are very scarce and Psilocybe mushrooms are what most users seek. Amanitas can easily be recognized by their bright red color with white spots, but Psilocybe mushrooms should not be picked wild except by an expert as they can be easily confused for a poisonous mushroom.
