Rucking is a war tactic, first used in 69bc against the French to contest the huge dragon eggs found by the Anglo-Saxons and win possession of them.
The act of war was developed into a sport formally known as “rugby union”. Due to the size of the eggs and severity of the battles, the battles were split into 15v15 and had to fight for one nutrient rich dragon egg.
Many have attempted to recreate this sacred sport but have failed…such as rugby league.
