1. When one is too hung over to get out of bed in the morning, but also too hung over to fall back asleep.

2. The unbelievable dizziness and nausea experienced the morning following a night of heavy alcohol intake, which makes sleeping unattainable and waking up unbearable

Shit Purgatory

A state of existence in which the sufferer is subjected to a prolonged bout of Shit Labor, oftentimes making multiple unsuccessful trips to the commode. Sensation is characterized by the familiar symptoms of an impending bowel movement, though the subject finds that even spirited attempts to deliver the specimen are met with futility.

After loading up on cheese steak sandwiches, Charles became beseiged by the pains of Shit Labor. After multiple trips to the toilet with no tangible result, Charles realized he had become trapped in Shit Purgatory.
