They are often a pushover who's decision making is completely dependant on what other characters think, often just going along with what other characters decide for them. Their role in their given show is that they must be protected and can never do wrong in most characters eyes; if someone actually does get mad at them, the other characters will jump to defend the Plastic Bag.
This character can often be confused for the Mary Sue character type.
