Rigging something moderately important and seemingly complicated in a pinch with a few simple items on hand......

Usually to complete a in progress task that otherwise couldn't be completed at that time.

The fuse to the starter relay blew out on the boat so Peckahead MacGyver'd-it by pulling out the burnt fuse wrapping it in aluminum foil and re inserting it to complete the circuit and the start the boat.

Lady MacGyver

A woman who solves her problems with whatever resources available. She has a "can-do" attitude and looks outside the box where she finds infinite possibilities. She often surprises herself with the results of her efforts. Also a BIG fan of duct tape.

Father: So the contractor won't be available to fix the loose tiles in the shower for another 2 weeks!
