TEENAGE FRAMES

Teenage Frames are a feral rock n roll band formed in 1996. The band is Frankie Delmane-Vocals/Songwriting & Eric Vegas-Guitar/Songwriting. The band released their debut CD, More Songs, Less Music in 1997. The band has appeared on The Jenny Jones Show, as well as Chicago's local hit tv show Chic-A-Go Go. The band's original drummer Jim Holiday left in 2008 to pursue online sales. Ted Ansani, originally of power pop band Material Issue, served as bassist from 1996 to 1998, and then in 2000. Ted Lowis, of power pop band Monkey Chuck, played with the band from 1998-1999, appearing on the band's sophmore release 1% Faster (1999.) The band did a tour of Spain in 1997, as well as the United States, and England/Scotland in Winter of 2000. From 2001-2007, the band released 4 EPs- "Kingsize Sessions," "Let's Break Up!," "Junkie Logic," and "Glamorous Trash." The band then did 3 tours up the West Coast. The band has plans to release another EP in 2011, entitled "Armband Manifesto."

Frame

Frame- a word used in men's community used to describe a man's controlled environment and lifestyle maintained for/by him alone. Staying in your frame facilitates healthy relationships with women because there are clear lines of respect and boundaries that certain lines can't be crossed to continue in the specific frame the relationship exists in.

It is important to maintain your frame in a relationship.

"You moved in with her? Oh man you gave up your frame."

1.) That rapper is straight out the frame, his delivery is so fast while maintaining a great flow over tight beats. One of the best, no doubt.
2.) I'm out the frame, ain't nobody like me.
3.) Man, that party was OUT THE FRAME, naked girls, everyone buck wild and getting straight crunk, I'll never forget that night!
4.) Amanda was bangin out the frame last night, doing some of that kama sutra stuff like a pro; I couldn't believe how flexible she was! Wow!

I spoke with Julia for 3 hours last night on the phone. She went on and on about her life and all her crazy drama. We talked so late and so long she sucked the life out of me. She's a frampire....

shit framed

This usually takes place in an office or party situation when someone drops a toxic deuce right before you use the bathroom. When the next co-worker/fellow partier walks in after you innocently drain your bladder, you get the judgmental scowl and embarrassment. At this point there is really nothing you can say to get out of it as you have just been shit framed.

"Man I got totally shit framed at the party last night in front of this hot chick. I went in to take a quick piss but it smelled like someone ate the entire contents of a used diaper filled with Indian food then subsequently shit it out right before I walked in...so obviously the hottie I was talkin to the whole night walks in right as I walk out..."
