EMPing

(verb) temporarily disabling a vehicle by overloading its circuits by an EMP blast, first featured in the Halo 3 game engine. This allows the vehicle to come under heavy attack without being able to retaliate/escape. It also exposes the vehicle for hijacking.

Usually pronounced as "imp-ing", but can also be pronounced as "E-M-P-ing".

Halo Tip: Remember, the only weapon which is capable of EMPing a vehicle is the Plasma Pistol!
