In addition to the games, a television pilot was created for a Bubsy cartoon show based on the video game series, however, it did not transition to become a full-fledged series due to unfavorable ratings from the pilot episode.
The rights to Bubsy and its sequels are currently owned by Tommo Inc., who received the rights from Atari (the successor in interest of Accolade) through an auction that commenced in 2014.
