Passion Project

1) a project in which you learn something new for fun, which can be exciting and educational if it's something you like to do
2) a project in which your school forces you to learn something new for "fun" and to make school "more fun for kids"

1) I am doing a passion project in which I learn animation!!! It's really fun.
2) Our teacher is forcing us to do a 6 week long project in which we have to "learn something school related for fun" and present it at the end of the semester, and it's fucking hell.
