A way for kids to look up slang and repeat the slang they look up to act cool. A way for people to give different meanings to the words they use, in the hopes that it will catch on and become the norm. A website dedicated to listing people's opinions, and hate. A way for people to believe everything they read. The exact miss use of the word Dictionary.

kid: What the fuck is a chiv?
fake kid: Someone like you!
kid: What?
fake kid: Haha lol you've never been on urban dictionary. Chiv emo hipster suicidal loser kid!
kid: Why are you talking like that? I don't even know how those go together?

Urban Dictionary is a place where people freely write definitions of words. It is also often used as an encyclopedia.
One of the great things about this is its comedic value and its ability to make you discover new hobbies or pranks and things of that nature. Let's not forget looking up your name and showing everyone how you have a huge dong.
