Homework has a double meaning. The obvious one, which is school work that is done at home. The not-so-obvious meaning is the acronym. It stands for: Half Of My Energy Wasted On Random Knowledge.

Homework 

Work that you are typically required to do by an instructor at a school. Can also be used as an acronym meaning "Half of My Energy Wasted on Random Knowledge". Unless someone needs genuine practice or wants to hone their knowledge and is fast enough to complete work, homework is often seen as a waste of time. Sometimes, people are better off just reviewing their classwork for tests and studying or just coming up with their own problems. On the other hand, homework helps people maintain their balance of practice and is linked to higher student achievement.

Me: I don't like doing homework, but I still do it anyway.

The effort requirement to get more screen time from parents in order to watch more YouTube.

Imagine when YouTube "assigns" the homework to get more screen time from parents 0.0001 seconds after you lose the self-control to abstain from subscribing to 600+ YouTube channels in a row. Before long, you'll experience painful burnout long before you even get the screen time allotment that you need to catch up latest YouTube videos.
