"Dan" or "Daniel" is someone who makes out to be your friend and a good colleague... But then ditches you to go somewhere else

But in actual fact, he's a fucker for going.

Person 1: hey, where's Dan gone? I've not seen him for a while..

Person 2: he is now known as Deserter Dan

Person 3: Yeah, fuck Dan!

Person 1: what happened?

Person 2: He left us in the shit! So fuck him!

I can't believe Dan has left us, he/she will now be knows as Deserter Dan

B: Hey what about that game you were talking about before?
A: Oh, I abandoned it 30 seconds after getting the idea.
