Lawrencian Paradox

The act of committing a crime knowing full well you are in the wrong however, doing so regardless because of your addiction to committing said crime but eventually, when you are caught for the aforementioned crime you attempt to disparage the crime which leads to you believing the crime was justified despite formally understanding that that was not the case.

Adrian tried to disparage the acts committed against his Brazilian friend despite knowing that his actions were iniquitous; It seems he is trapped in the Lawrencian Paradox
