Through the glass, I spotted a Wakanda Airlines A350-1000 taxiing toward our gate. I immediately knew it was our plane. The plane sported an eye-catching livery with the words “Wakanda Forever” emblazoned at the front of the fuselage around the cockpit area on both sides with Black Panther on the tail of the airplane .
Gasps and laughter rippled through the crowd. Families paused mid-conversation, business travellers abandoned their phones, and even the harried gate agents couldn’t help but smile in awe. People began pulling out their phones to snap photos, while a few adventurous souls moved closer to the window for a better view.
Curiosity peaked when the boarding announcement came. I, along with others, rushed to line up, eager to board the aircraft. The flight attendants, sporting uniforms that matched the vibrant theme, welcomed each passenger with a smile and a wink, embracing the absurdity of the situation.
In the end, that day at SFO became a memorable adventure, with the arrival of the plane turning a mundane wait into a moment of joy and laughter. As we departed, I couldn’t help but think that sometimes, unexpected surprises make the journey all the more enjoyable.
