Factual Multicontextualism

A philosophical framework holding that facts are shaped by multiple, irreducible contexts—scientific, historical, social, cultural, institutional—that interact to constitute what counts as fact. A single event is a fact in a meteorological context, a fact in an economic context, a fact in a political context, a fact in a personal context, each context producing different factual descriptions that are not reducible to one another. Factual multicontextualism insists that no single context exhausts the reality of facts and that understanding factual claims requires mapping how contexts interrelate. It demands that we resist the temptation to reduce facts to any one framework (e.g., science) and instead embrace the multiplicity of contexts that give facts meaning.
Example: "Her factual multicontextualism meant she studied a natural disaster not just as a meteorological fact, but also as a social fact, an economic fact, a political fact, and a personal fact—all of which were true and all of which were needed to understand what happened."

Reality Multicontextualism

A philosophical framework holding that reality is constituted by multiple, irreducible contexts—physical, social, cultural, historical, personal—that interact to produce what we take as real. A city is real as a physical space, as a social structure, as a historical accumulation, as a personal experience, as a cultural symbol—all real, none reducible to another. Reality multicontextualism insists that no single context exhausts the fullness of reality and that understanding what is real requires attending to how contexts interrelate. It demands that we resist the temptation to reduce reality to any one frame (e.g., the physical) and instead embrace the multiplicity of contexts that make reality.
Example: "Her reality multicontextualism meant she studied a hospital not just as a building, but also as an institution, a workplace, a place of healing, a site of bureaucracy, and a space of personal crisis—all of which were real and all of which were needed to understand what the hospital was."

Evidence Multicontextualism

A philosophical framework holding that evidence is shaped by multiple, irreducible contexts—scientific, social, cultural, historical, practical—that interact to constitute what counts as evidence. Evidence multicontextualism insists that no single context exhausts the meaning of evidence and that understanding evidence requires mapping how contexts interrelate. A clinical trial's evidence is shaped by the context of trial design, the context of funding, the context of participant selection, the context of statistical interpretation, and the context of clinical practice—all of which interact. This framework demands that we resist reductionist approaches to evidence and embrace the complexity of how evidence is produced, interpreted, and applied across interacting contexts.
Example: "Her evidence multicontextualism meant she studied medical evidence not just through clinical trials, but also through patient experience, practitioner knowledge, institutional constraints, and cultural beliefs—all of which shaped what counted as evidence."

Fluid Multi-Domain Symbolic Intelligence, or FMSI, is a cognitive capability and self-regulatory framework that enables an individual to transition fluidly, coherently, and intentionally between symbolic systems—while preserving internal logic, role integrity, and operational control. FMSI also refers to a personalized internal system used to impose structure, hierarchy, and coherence on internal processes during periods of instability or transformation.
Fluid Multi-Domain Symbolic Intelligence, or FMSI, is a process that is universal to all human beings, but unique in it's configuration to each depending on the user personalized input over time.

Example: Person A and Person B are saying the same thing but they do not understand the symbolic significance of their own individual FMSI. Person A is overlaying his FMSI on top of Person B's FMSI; and vice versa. Person A and Person B are arguing even though they actually agree.
